I mainly listen to nothing but 70's and 80's rock, but it feels good to come back and listen to the music that helped make most of my childhood memories.

It's sad that this cheesy pop country crap sounds good compared to the even worse shit we have to endure now. Yes, the lyrics are corny and so is the generic drum track, but at least he knows how to sing and there's some good slide guitar. This was before country started appropriating hip hop ideas and using drum machines on every other song.
