Kenickie (band with Lauren Laverne) performing Nightlife - one of the kenickie songs released as a single - on Channel 4's Fresh Pop. Kenickie interview themselves also. Lots of energy and humour, =).

@graingjam Nah, just the band having a laugh, like they might if they appeared on T4 nowerdays. They're pretty entertaining compared to some of the other acts that introduced themselves on Fresh Pop.

@ajmetz82 LOL I know who Lauren Laverne is now, didn't know she was in a band, it looked like one of those crappy all female sketch shows like smack the pony or alike!

@graingjam Nah, it's just the band being funny. They're northern lasses too, hence their accents. Fresh Pop basically gave a band airtime, so they chat to camera, play their music video, and say bye at the end. It's the actual band you're watching. The band has disbanded now, but Lauren Laverne has remained in the public eye as a TV Presenter - most recently on Channel 4's 10 O'Clock Live show. Hang on - your profile says you're from the UK - you should know all this(!), ^_^.

@ajmetz82 what - you mean that two-part documentary here - what was the problem then? - I didn't find it depressing - it was just a band at the end of their tether after three hectic years and realising that the world of rock'n'roll was not what they thought it would be.They were great live but really - if you listen to both their albums whilst some of their tunes were catchy they hardly wrote timeless classics - I think they were about as popular as they should have been.

@devilskitchen08 I meant the documentary on Youtube was depressing - I never went to any of their gigs or tours. I was a freshpop fan, and recorded a tonne of episodes. I uploaded this one when a friend said they sort of fancied Lauren Laverne, ^_^.

@devilskitchen08 The last tour videos are so depressing...at least in this they're super funny, ^_^.
