This is my remix of Kendrick Lamar's 'HUMBLE.', off his new album DAMN. This is the first video with my brand new DW Collector's Series kit. It's a 7-piece Mapa Burl, which has put a significant change in my approach to playing. This is also the first time DW has ever done rose gold hardware for a kit, I'm very excited to be a part of that history with them.

I see a lot of people complaining about him overplaying. I think that with songs so simplistic in nature and rhythm should be played to the maximum of the measures you’re given. When I play along to rap songs, I always play with the space I’m given in the simple recursion part on the song because... it’s just there. It’s about having fun with a song, not saying it was “musically overplayed.” It sounded cool and awesome, so stfu and enjoy yourself you pricks.6 years ago
