I'm from the West Coast. I remember a friend of a friend told me about Kendrick Lamar . When I heard him I knew instantly he will be at the Grammy. All my other friends would slept on Kendrick. It's funny how things happen.

I have no faith for the Academy in Music anymore. The Grammy's is a joke now. It has become to a popularity award like VMA, AMA etc. Kendrick and his album GKMC should've won all the rap categories. No wonder that the legends like Tupac and Nas have never won a Grammy -.-

I love what you said there at the end. So many artists in the rap game fall off and their music becomes commercialized garbage after the blow up. I hate to see my favorite up and comers put out trash for the radio. You came up off of your raw talent and work ethic, and I hope you will be able to maintain that level of creativity and that vicious edge you take to the beat. That said, it also brings me joy to finally see a skilled lyrical artist in the throne. It's been too long.
