Kelly carries emotion in the strength of her voice, while Sara can actually sing with lots of emotion softly, so I think that Kelly sang the song that is perfect for her own voice. Don't get me wrong, both versions are beautiful <3

I love Kelly's voice,but definitely Sara's version is better...I like how emotional she sounds while singing it,and her voice is beautiful.Kelly's voice is good too,but Sara convinced me more in what she sings,probably since she wrote the lyrics.

I love Kelly Clarkson, she is awesome, but Sara Bareilles owns this song, and nobody is going to touch her version, or any of her performances, ever. But Kelly did OK. Really butchered that first note of the second verse. She was out of tune several times actually. Sara Bareilles is never out of tune live. Ever.

Why are you sorry? Everyone is entitled to an opinion. That's what's so great about music: it's subjective. But personally, I'm glad I can enjoy both versions :)
