It was pretty sweet when she worked him into the lyrics, but it's so corny when artists do the whole "no one messes with my fans" thing. It comes off so sanctimonious and condescending. I don't mind that she fired him on-stage if he really deserved it, but the whole "I'm going to pray for you" thing seems very tacky to me. Apologize to the audience for what he did, tell him to get off stage and move on.

Really, he got fired because he flipped-off the audience? He's a guitar player, that's what we do! It's like firing a drummer for twirling his sticks, or firing the bassist for having his amp too low. I'm surprised how many people are saying "IT'S UNPROFESSIONAL!!!" Concerts aren't supposed to be professional, that's kind of the point of them. If you want a professional performance, listen to the studio recordings.I can't blame him, he was probably bored out of his mind, and tried to liven things up a bit. He's probably a studio musician who threw away his standards to play her shit music for quick money. No big deal, he's probably in the studio right now, unaffected.
