Certain artists are able to perfectly place words with melodies in a way that exceeds the boundaries of language and creates a new form of communication. Hearing and speech become one sense for that instant, and the things on the tip of your tongue are released and understood. Kellen & Me does this for me. It strikes a cord in me that nothing else has. The most ancient, lonely, free, powerful cord that's living somewhere off the grid in my mind. Like the hum from an ancient drum.
