I read on his Kentucky Bluebird album that this song was on the CD copy of the font close your eyes album not the cassette or the by nail copy when it was released in 1988. But the first time I heard this song was on a Hee Haw. That was when I first heard of Keith Whitley. Country music did suffer a big loss. My heart still hoes out yo his family, wife Laurie Morgan , kids, Morgan Whitley his daughter and his Don Jesse Keith Whitley. God bless you all.

Jamey Johnson did this better? Really? Jamey Johnson is a good singer and I like his music but he doesn't even compare to this man. Keith Whitley has a lot more range and a lot more emotion than Jamey Johnson does. Just my opinion.

Vern Gosdin is on this cut as well. don't really jump out till the last would these arms be in your way! How awesome to have the likes of those to singing harmony. what a shame Keith would have been huge. I wonder the impact he would have had on modern day hip hope country had he lived?

Keith is my very favorite, I have every album he put out, except maybe 2...I was fortunate to see him 2 times, waiting for him to come back the third time, he passed away, I had my ticket already bought....

Keith's voice was naturally superimposed , Any of the lyrics that came from him induced- a tear to your eye, as your heart felt each and every word. Like it had been planted there forever. Love him. Such a loss when he left us....c
