This was to me a very loving tribute to KW. The song tugs at the heart. I believe we all have that someone from our past that we wonder if they still think about us, as we do them. For me, I have two. In 1958 in Jacksonville Beach , Fl. Her name was Jean Arnold. She helped me through a rough time. Being the new kid isn' t always easy. The other is from 1963 .High School sweetheart. But, it was what it was. But, to this day I carry a memory of them in my heart.

When i first heard Keith Whitley, i didn't even know who this guy was and i said who is this guy on the radio? but when i first listen to one of his songs i knew that this is the guy that was the question of what pure voice is singing, and when i first heard about him dead, i became depressed and it hit me like a gunshot. :(
