Keef can't sing for shit. But every note Keef sings has more meaning and emotion than any note sang by anyone who has ever sang a song before or since. Pain, beauty, joy, love, agony and loneliness. I would much rather hear Keith hit all the wrong notes than hear Nazareth (or even Mick) hit all the right notes. This man is music embodied in human form. He is an Angel.

What an AWFUL version of this song. Clearly Keith is doped up, and you can see Norah Jones has that look of 'ick, get away from me...' FYI, Heroin will make anyone think they are a great singer.. just check out any video of some drunk singing Karaoke.

Of course, the definitive version of this was by Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons spent a lot of time hanging out with Keith Richards, along with all that meant. Unfortunately Gram Parsons clearly wasn't made of the same stuff as Keith Richards, and sadly died of an overdose at age 26. Quite whether this was in Keith Richard's mind in singing this duet, I've no idea.
