Keith was not able to continue the energy he has when he was younger. Especially since he had the energy of drugs fueling his playing for so many years. As he was trying to get off drugs and play clean. He found himself gaining weight and not being to keep up. They even told him if he did not improve his playing he was out of the band. He did a Fine job in this record. If he did not die, his playing would have calmed down a bit
