Does anyone else notice how massively important the bass is in these mixes. Yeah sure each guitar solo sounds heavy/brutal etc.. but the fucking bass WITH the guitars is where it's fucking at if you ask me

Hi there Keith. Can you please tell me if the Nazgul is coil splittable? I want to put one on my guitar.

I recently switched from active to passive pickups. Now I am looking for some high-output pickup in my 6 string, which can do some modern high-gain stuff, but also has an agressive 'attitude'. Hard to describe.SO it came down to: Black Winter vs. Nazgul vs. SH-5 Custom. If it helps: 6 String guitar, alder wings, maple neck-through body, rosewood fretboard.

What woods are these guitars made out of?? Because the Nazgul sounds awesome in both.

I have a question, is the 6 string version of the pickup tonally any different? i want to play in a drop b with a very tight pickup, and the fact keith uses black winters on his 6 string sig model worries me

Like the distortion better. They sound pretty damn similar except for the Nazgul has more treble/presence. Think the distortion sounds a bit "fatter" overall. Still a damn good pickup.

+Keith Merrow Who did the ambience in the beginning? And what kind of VST's are you using?

these things rival the bareknuckle variants at half the price.

Sounds good, but even if they only sounded half decent, having pick ups called Nazgul would just be bad ass, lol
