and you need to understand a little of Christian theology... when we accept Christ, God, in a metaphorical sense, sees Christ when he looks at us and we are therefore redeemed through and because of Christ.  This redemption is available to all because God loves all equally and, as Paul says, we cannot do anything to stop God from loving us less...
