"The song was actually done as a "remake" of Miller's earlier Jamaican hit "Love is a Message" that he had recorded at Studio One in 1968..." What??????????? It's a completely different song

Love this song.... It is mezmerizing... My question to you is, what is he trying to tell us with these lyrics? Everytime I hear them I get different scenarios in my mind...

This was the first song that Jacob Miller recorded under the production of Augustus Pablo. The tracks were laid down at Dynamics Studio in 1974. Miller was 22 at the time. The song was actually done as a "remake" of Miller's earlier Jamaican hit "Love is a Message" that he had recorded at Studio One in 1968. Check out the album "Who Say Jah No Dread" for more Jacob Miller/Augustus Pablo recordings. Great album IMHO..
