I recently heard this band for the first time and really liked them so I thought I would share.

This song is off their newest EP "You Belong". Here is the link if you want to buy it for yourself.

Their album "Let's Build Something To Break" is also awesome if you can't get enough.

'Noun: Rock music with a less persistent beat and more emphasis on lyrics and melody than hard rock has.' Soft rock isn't categorized in a specific genre xD But you seem kinda mad. Was it something I said?

Yeah, well certainly not with that attitude. Soft Rock?. Wtf. Pink Floyd and Tool are both Progressive Rock. The Black Keys are Blues Rock. Here I thought there was hope for you.. Good day to you.

I'm afraid I can't. You and I have different tastes in music, so me suggesting you something might end in failure. I'd probably go through 5 or 6 songs before you start to like it, if you even like it at all. I'm not saying that you should like it, I'm just saying you should atleast try it instead of Justin Beibering it is all. Soft rock never was my style fyi also ~

I wasn't asking you to show me the best dubstep ever made. I was simply asking you to show me the best song that you could think of that would help in any way, change my perspective, because, as you say, I DO have a bias towards dubstep. Maybe it's not all mindless, hard techno. Maybe there's something of the likes of "Philip Glass meets wubwub". Introduce me to your dubsteps with a heartmoving dubstep song, not a heartwrenching one. I'm inviting you to do so.

I'm afraid I can't. Everyone has a preference of what songs they like and dislike. I can't exactly show you a song and expect you to like it, that's just not how it works. But I can suggest you try your favorite song dubstepped. Their not all hard techno you know

If you think you can enlighten me with a song that can induce the same emotions as Comfortably Numb or the Exogenesis Symphony, then for the sake of argument, please do so. Regardless, I still think you're better off listening to Tool, Pink Floyd or The Black Keys.

Youtube may be full of immature children, but we all don't have to keep the cycle going xD and as for what you're saying, you seem a bit bias towards what TYPE of dubstep you're referring to. I didn't like dubstep at first because it was too strange, luring, difficult to catch beatwise, and it had a strange pattern, but I realized that the songs that were like that wasn't even mainstream. It was simply the 'face' of dubstep. Like your "wubwub" style, but if you look, I can say it's not it

Well, since you didn't reply like an angry child, here's why: Dubstep music has the same chords over and over again. It's the same sound design. It's taking Techno, House and Trance music and turning into a repetitive ear-wrenching noise that goes slower or faster. It has no emotion, and if you're still around your teens and you're impressionable, let me give you a life advice; stay away from that music. Listen to Pink Floyd, Tool, The Black Keys. Music with substance. You'll thank me later.
