To celebrate the release of Keaton Henson's new "The Lucky EP", a limited edition bundle was released which included a wooden die, a t-shirt and, of course, the EP. My die was the "lucky" one which allowed me to choose one song for Mr Henson to cover. I was torn between "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen (albeit more in the style of Jeff Buckley) and "Delicate" by Damien Rice. I chose "Delicate", because I feel like there are not a lot of good covers of the song and that Henson's voice would lend justice to the vulnerability and, indeed, delicateness of the story told in the song. I decided that it would be a bit selfish of me to not share the cover, so here it is! I hope that you enjoy it.
