Brilliant song by Keane in my top 10 of their best ever songs. To me, the song is about recognising who you really are deep down in your soul & being honest to yourself about it. Also, remembering who you used to be & realising that we're really not fooling anyone by acting out our continuous charades. Self-realisation can help to lead us to freedom. Not necessarily in a religious sense. Spiritual, personal & human. Fantastic thought provoking song. Great song for music & lyrics subject study!10 years ago
