I'm a Keane- fan since the beginning.. thought I heard every song that was good from Keane. Russian Farmer's Song is a track that Tim wrote back in 2001 after reading the Russian book ''Anna Karenina''. The first time that I've listen to this song I felt addicted too! The piano-melody is like a Journey of 6 and a half minutes. It's haunting, magical and heavenly. I'm listening to it everyday now. It became the best Keane-song for me that I ever heard before. Try to imagine a snowing farmer village.. where old man are talking , drinking and smoking.. while the snow falls. I hope (If they return) that they will perform it live. And also.. please make a good instrumental version of it! :)
