I see a video and think I'll just listen to a little of it and it pulls me in each time. Her voice is so sweet and pure that there's no way you can cut it off midway. Yeah, she's that good. Even if it's a song I've heard a hundred times, I still have to listen all the way through. This song and pictures are adorable. She was so cute, sweet and innocent. What a wonderful life she's had we are so lucky that she didn't succumb to the trappings of success. so happy for her CMHF award.SO DESERVED!

@nikitozish I think she has learnt to control her voice and uses it more effectively. I dont think she could sing in such a way as she did in the 1980's it would burn her voice out. She has an amazingly powerful voice and great control - she has learnt so much from Tony Bennett. I love all stages of her career , music from Sing It Loud and her latest tour recall her early Torch n' Twang days That recent fall on stage she just lost her footing - wish I had her energy !!

Oh, yes! True, before she was a little more natural and free, whereas now it seems more strained performance ... maybe 50 - the age for the more lyrical music? Or am I mistaken? ("... like a drunk in a midnight choir ... "These crashes on stage ... and yet it almost does not drink alcohol ...) But who am I to judge her ... she is gorgeous too, and even seemingly failure makes my heart flutter like the first time I saw her in Vancouver ...
