Can I just put something out there? I hear (haha, mostly read) people putting down Lecrae and Reach Records for changing their sound. Putting Lecrae down for collaborating with secular artist. But before we condemn him, check your mission field first. Who are your being a witness to? Or better yet, Who are your disciples? Chances are, it's someone / some people who are very similar to you in your background. Same socio-economic background. Why? Because that's How God's using you - to your strengths. Now let's get this straight - I'm not saying that you can't be used across socio-economic barriers, as a matter of fact, I hope you are being used cross-(everything - culturally, socio-economically, language, age, gender) . But working with people who can identify with you is a very large strength, and it's something I hope God is using you in. I don't want to push too far here, but don't you guys think that Lecare working with secular artists is just God's way of saying "Hey, I'm putting hip-hop on notice, I will move into hip-hop in ways no one can understand yet. And here's my disciple Lecrae to lay the foundation. He may not be there at the end of this work, but here's my cornerstone."

Somebody needs to put that one line in full blast on the road or when you're about to leave some place with a bunch of people around. Truer words have never been spoken. You got a problem?
