Yes I agree this was the best number in the movie. I saw it a few years later when it came around to the neighborhood theaters. Also in this movie was the first time the general public go to see Frankie Laine. A lot of his fans thought he was Black because he didn't sing like the other Pop Singers of the time.

My mom took me to see this film at the Empress Theater on Olive near Grand in St. Louis in 1949. This Kay Starr number is what I remember most, but also the Toni Harper numbers.
