This song is so uncatchy and I don't buy the message coming from her, a popstar who thrives on her social media fan base and 3D documentaries. It just feels inauthentic to me. The first two verses were interesting to listen to, but it all disappeared by the time the first chorus came around. Katy Perry's new direction seems to be half mindless club music and half shock value.

This song criticizes people who party, eat in excess like a zombie without considering the harm of doing that. "Turn it up, keep it on repeat Stumbling around like a wasted zombie, yeah. This song criticizes people who live in their bubble (people watching fake reality shows, gossips) without seeing the actual trouble (inequality, poverty, etc.). She uses a very danceble tune for a non-dancable message. The fact that people who don't understand the meaning of this song will dance to the tune mindlessly while drinking to excess, shows how screwed up our society is. Never have I ever stumbled upon a katy perry song this awesome and meaningful. I hope people can appreciate it too.
