It was inspiration for they but they didn't buy it or they heard somewhere it and without thing over it they started compose. I have the same situation onec in my life. Cover is remake ALL song in own way, not chorus or one line of notes, in example in original was female vocal, in remake is male vocal...etc

@Kerschenpower It's hardly a cover, just because the chorus bears a resemblance to Within temptation's song. Obviously influenced by it, but that's another thing.
