@Scumdoggy Do you mean this lead guitar reminds you of The Replacements or their singer Paul Westerberg's solo albums? I like how this guitar sound combines a rock edge with folk and country. I've always been a fan of Clarence White (The Byrds) and Pete Townshend (The Who) and of course Mike Campbell (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers).
