Another performance with those "out of the ball park" notes. Rhetorical, of course, buthow did she do that? When Kate sings those massive, lengthy notes, it's almost other worldly. A gift from God, and these YouTube clips let us savor each one over and over. What a blessing she was and still remains so.

I saw here in concert in Chicago three years later and she was dramatically slimed-down and fashioned-up! The Supremes easily could have worn her gowns. The concert spotlighted music of the Beatles, Jimmy Webb, Michel Legrand...everything was SO contemporary! She sang "God Bless America" in a medley with "Sing" from "Sesame Street." The audience was beside itself with joy.
