Between the time Kate was signed at 16 to the EMI contract and the release of Wuthering Heights, Kate had 200 demo songs recorded in various stages of progress. These unreleased, unedited demos were called the Phoenix recordings. I imagine we have some ex EMI employee to thank for liberating these from their vault. Good on ya, mate.
