Kate Bush - Scares Me Silly (But It Gets Me Going) video free download

An unreleased Kate Bush track recorded during studio sessions for her debut album "The Kick Inside" at AIR Studios London between July and Aug 1977.

This track was left of the final album and was never used as a "B" side. It was recorded, produced and mixed by Andrew Powell.

The loss in sound quality is due to this digital copy being made from a later generation analogue cassette transfer that had been "passed down" & copied multiple times by fans on home twin cassette decks between the 70's and the 90's.

Until it finally became possible to digitally preserve (on home computer) the quality of a (by that time) random multiple generation cassette, so preventing any further loss in sound quality that was always inevitable with analogue cassette copying (up until the technological shift away from "home taping" (in analogue) to "CD burning" (in digital).

It is not a demo, it is genuinely the only unreleased finished studio recording to leak out in her entire career (thanks in no small part to her later purchase of a home studio).

@MisterBlue24 oh dear. i can only assume you use this utube account to slag people off as i notice you include no personal info on it. maybe you should redirect your anger where it might be more constructive. no wonder kate doesnt like meeting fans if there are cretins like you running around- and let;s all assume you havent actually met kate then.

@MisterBlue24 the red shoes viewing? i there also and actually none of us met Kate, she was just there. i met her at the whole story signing fan club convention in 1987. you really cant win mate! And I have also met Paddy Bush (1987) and Del Palmer (1987 and 2009)- amateur!

@henrycaville henry you info does not sound accurate. ive been hanging aroung kates careers for a long time now and i never heard anything about the remastering, and the demos will never be released officially. The only one that made a release was remastered in 1980. kate was said to be really embarrassed as she is such a perfectionist- hence years between albums- that these surfaced against her will. But the idea is a great one if EMI did it i would buy it!

@MisterBlue24 you obviously have quite a few issues mate.. i assume you are a young canadian guy who hasn't travelled much in the world. I have only met kate once (once more than you I assume) and I can assure you she was a lovely and friendly person, really genuine..just chill out, listen to the great music and stop overreacting!

Your welcome. From "Hounds of Love" (onwards), everything was recorded in her home studio (that she built after "The Dreaming"), so who knows what a treasure-trove of "gems" she has lying around in her private home studio (from 84-09), that no-one can access but her.

Thanks for the clarification. Actually, that was a typo. I meant to write Kate. However, everything serves it's purpose. Your response to my typo provided new information. I love new information. Thank you!

The flying Kat is on the back cover of the album Never Forever. Which song? Hmm. Good question.
