Tops of the Pops on BBC4 (last month) from the year 1980, also played THe Kate Bush music video for her track: 'Breathing' from 1980.This track would be the first time that Kate Bush FULLY used the capabilities of the music video to its highest merits of artistic expression.Even in these very early Days of Music Video, Kate Bush was totally unique in that she had her own aesthetic for artistic music videos. She was the artist that set the artistic expressions of music videos coming from the United Kingdom.Till this very day, she is really still the only Female British Artist Musician, who has a very unique approach to music video, an approach she really only shares with the artist;Bjork.Peter Gabriel would be the Male Equivalent British Artist , who was doing what Kate Bush would be doing with music video: giving us(as viewers) something that only these unique individual artists could achieve with music video.

+Gary Kirrage +Frank Chisel Hate to be THAT guy but its a common misconception that it was David Gilmour playing that solo. It's actually Ian Bairnson, a session guitarist who played on the first 4 Kate Bush albums. it is very "Dave-like" though :-)

Is this song about an abortion & the unborn soul goes to limbo & will never be born to earth?

Just listened to this for the first time and couldn't stop crying. I've been a fan of Wuthering Heights for a long time, but just started checking out Kate's other music out today. and WOW it's brilliant.

Ian Bairnson played the guitar solo on 'Wuthering Heights', not David Gilmour as someone else has written here.
