My favorite band since 2004, I remember I had to ask one of my sister's friends to burn this album on a CD for me, 'cause I didn't have an internet at home back then.. And then I listened to it on my discman every night while falling asleep. Heck, I still do. the guy abandons his group..so the other person from the group comes back in order to kill him because "what happens within the family stays within the family" so they dont want anyone to know what crimes the group has done.. hence they poison his drink "it runs..from the top of my finger..into my hands.what is this i have been drinking? i do not understand" and the line "why have you waited so long"? means i expected you to come earlier to kill me10 years ago

The last part is about his death, and final words. His companion has put some kind of poison into his drink (the poison runs from the top of his fingers, into his hands). His final words indicate that he regrets telling, and asks his old friend to inform everyone he ever knew and loved back home, that he still loves them, and that he has always missed them. After a bit more talk he asks the other man why it took such a long time to come for him, he broke omerta and made himself a enemy of the family. He asks if it was because he left without telling anyone. I think the lyrics are about a man meeting an old mafia acquaintance, he sits with him at a bar and asks him to "strengthen his blood". He is asking about his old life in the mafia and how the family is faring. he tells his old companion that no one here knows his name and that he traded his memory for things.
