I couldn't believe my ears when I heard Barrie O'Neill (the lead singer) was in a famous band and going out with Lana Del Rey. He was in the year above me in school - and was a complete loser with a 'Justin Beiber' bob. One time I ended up playing five aside football with him about four or five years ago through a friends brother, and he lost the ball and so, in a fit of puny rage, began punching himself repeatedly in the face with all might - I wanted to burst out laughing but the sheer bizarreness of what my eyes had just witnessed prevented me.Evidently there exist people who really like this music - more confounding to me than when I watched the horrifyingly comedic spectacle mentioned above - and it isn't doing anyone any real harm (unless used against someone as a weapon of torture and forced to hear a full album), so I suppose I wish him the best of luck... I think.
