If Metal was like high school football, you guys are still the outsiders. Your sound is unique and powerful. You're one of my top favorite bands. Untouchable.

I saw Torche live and their drummer was wearing a Karp TShirt, so you're def. spot on there.

I dont know if this gets brought up much by people but I hear A LOT of Torche in this. Or rather, I hear a lot of this kind of stuff in Torch, since we all know who came first.

This was the last Karp show I saw and I remember that they went on earlier than they were supposed to, so when I got in they'd already started and the place was choked with people. This song being my favorite of theirs, when they started it I just fucking *had* to get up close to the band but in doing so I apparently deeply offended one of those (still) ridiculous riot grrrrrl types who then proceeded to shove me throughout the rest of the show. Didn't matter--got my face melted off, so I won.

Yes, it was Suburbia. Great name for a club eh. But it closed after a year or two.

Thank you for posting this! Funny, I've been trying to remember the name of that place too. I remember seeing an Accused reunion show there too. Cheers!
