I made that comment over a year ago. So much more has happened regarding the adventures & sub-adventures of this comment - it has had a life of its own. And I'm tired of comments from Karnivool fans who are unable to comprehend that there are actually other human beings who do not worship their favourite band as they do. Before you reply, look around at what has been said by others before you so that you know what you're saying. It's old man, let it go...

Ok. Listened to New Day (& other Karnivool songs) several times & the song has depth, texture & character. The band has talent & they r sort of progressive, more what they'd call alternative I suppose. But no matter how many times I listened, I just couldn't really 'like' them. All I can assume is that they just aren't my packet of chippies. But that's y there r so many bands/artists out there. 4 me tho, no recent Aussie artist has beaten Gotye for progressive abilities in music - yet. Sorry :-)

Your comment would make sense if all the responses which have been made to my comments turned up in my inbox. Only a small percentage of replies reach me & they only seem to be aggressive trolling. I have only received 2 replies in my inbox which were not frothing fits of rage at my expression of an opinion. And I only saw your comment coz I came back to reply to 1. It would seem that all of Youtube is talking about my comments without my knowledge! Gives them something to do...
