I don't understand the critiques.Just because you envision her doing a certain style of music doesn't mean she has to stick with it, and I say this even if I, too, immediately placed her voice in a certain "music box".She's so young and talented, she should do try out everything, test her abilities in the first place.It's one thing to give advice, to express your opinion, another to offend other people because you feel disappointed.Have you ever seen the number of views on the blues/jazz videos?Go out there and promote jazz and blues around the schools to kids, I'd love to see their reactions.The industry is merciless, and big money won't back up anything that doesn't sell.Let her do what makes her happy, and even what she has to in order to survive in the industry even with her unique voice.Seriously so many people speak as if they are big producers and know what they are talking about. Show some humility.
