I have spent time reading, getting degrees in, History, Anthropology, Astronomy, Physics, World History, (have a degree in that useless crap), Paleantolgy, Goelogy, on and on, all's I see, when two presidents debate are two chimps screaming at each other for territory.... Anyone who has really spent time studying history knows the human society was in a cyclical state of decline before Christianity ever showed up. Ancient Rome was a brute copy of the great Greek culture. Arts and literature were becoming more shallow. It was Christianity that took Europe from a backwater and made it into what it is today by uniting slaves and freemen. Christians aren't any worse or any better than any other cultural phenom.
