I was once told by someone that they didn't enjoy this song, as it was so depressing. I wondered, "What song were they listening too?" This is quite an uplifting song. A man, commiserating the death of his wife, and probably thinking that such thoughts will be with me the rest of life. But alas, his wife comes to soothe him and tells him together they will live eternity as one. What couldn't be more uplifting?
