Lesser known Kansas song from their debut self-titled '74 album. From the days when Steve Walsh played a Hammond. Lots of prog rock time signature changes that I plod through.

The way I remember figuring out the song the first two measures were 4/4, then one 5/8, one 2/4, two 9/16, one 2/4, one 4/4 and repeat for the intro (around 100 bpm). For both the first 4/4 measures the right hand notes were: r e a b r c a b c d e g f# d e c (all 16th notes, r is 16th rest) It's been a while since I played this one and those notes might not be exact. Let me know if you wanted the next few measures. Hope that helps

What are the notes plates in the two opening measures (the 5/16+11/16 part)?

@cuberrxdeath Man I haven't played this one all the way through probably since I first recorded this, so I wouldn't stand a chance getting those those 8 minutes again! But if you have any questions about notes/chords or hard to see passages and what not feel free to ask

nice, i used to transcribe a lot of jazz saxophone stuff takes a lot of time. any chance you'd consider making another video from overhead so your right hand is clearer? or maybe from the other side? if not, no big deal, thanks for for sharing your skill

@cuberrxdeath Thanks for watching, I transcribed the organ by ear but used the guitar chord names for help from Hal Leonard's book "The Best of Kansas - Guitar Recorded Versions"

I must say... I'm jealous of your organ... I hope my grandfather will give me one of his, for the full effect of Kansas awesomeness... Well done.
