"Freaks of Nature" is my favorite post 70s Kansas record, but this is a VERY close second. Walsh and Morse do some fantastic songwriting and composition on this record. "Song for America" or "No One Together" it ain't...but marvelous stuff nontheless. Emotional, powerful rock music.

I was listening to this recently on cd in my car. Great album. I think I even like it better than "Freaks of nature." This is a great song. I love some of their lyrics including the ones on here.

Por favor lean y entiendan esta canción.Inside Of Me by KansasThe fire's inside me, the bridges burnLove is the lesson but love never learnsAnd if it's all up to me, in a matter of timeAll those memories will returnI gotta run a little fasterI gotta reach for the skyI gotta come a little closerEven if I lose, I gotta tryInside of me is a man that I knew Who could rattle these chains Who can shake these cagesInside of you is a dream that I seeAnd the echoes of voices are callingInside of me, inside of meI've captured the nightmares that burst inyour bedI've run with the horses inside your headAnd when I turned to walk away, I neverheard you say"We are hanging by a threadSo I skated in circlesOver cracks in the iceAnd I stand in the shadowsAnd now my heart must pay the priceInside of me is a man that I knew Who could rattle these chains Who can shake these cagesInside of you is a dream that I seeAnd the echoes of voices are callingInside of me, inside of meInside of me is a man that I knew Who could rattle these chains Who can shake these cagesInside of you is a dream that I seeAnd the echoes of voices are callingInside of meInside of me is a man that I knew Who could rattle these chains Who can shake these cagesInside of you is a dream that I seeAnd the echoes of voices are callingInside of me, inside of meInside of me is a man that I knew

I just love the way this song winds up near the end. I've had the CD since right after this came out and always thought it was a masterpiece. I was just looking for this very song about a week ago and it wasn't on here. Thank you so much for uploading!!!
