This song was in my head when I awoke - I had to look it up.

I don't like this album. I kinda like "Fight Fire with Fire" but that's it.Too much artificial noise. I do really like VINYL CONFESSIONS, though. And POWER and IN THE SPIRIT OF THINGS and FREAKS OF NATURE. This one, however, seems like a different band to me.

This album was among their best. For some reason it apparently did not catch on or has been forgotten, despite strong material and crisp arrangements delivered with characteristically proficient individual performances. This music was intended to actually be listened to and featured words that meant something. Modern rock sounds almost incipit by comparison.

I'm sure John was the better replacement, from those who may have tried for the spot. I have a real hard time understanding the words though when he sings, maybe it's just my ears.

yes he was in kerrys eyes, but to the true kansas fan, not so much. if you liked the christian kansas and you feel , why do you you not understand that drugs, alchol and a man named steve walsh was as much a part of kansas as kerry livgren? we all do time in the gutter, perhapsour time has not come............yet?

Livgren's opus! I agree...this is one of the best Kansas songs EVER! I loved the whole Drastic Measure album...and John Elefante was the PERFECT replacement. This is probably one of Kansas' most under rated albums. Thanks for sharing this awesome song!

Thanks for posting these tracks. I had the LP back when, and this music was a big part of a special time. I'd forgotten how good this album was. Elefante was a great replacement, imo, although the band did sort of take a turn with his writing. I came in search of Going through the motions, and stayed for the whole album. Many thanks.
