this still sounds like generic power metal instrumentation, which I normally don't like, but i'd listen to a single, droning note if roy khan was singing over it.also, kamelot is the first band ive heard where each album is legitimately better than the last. this might be the wrong place to say this, but yes, Silverthorn is my favorite kamelot album. but I definitely prefer Roy Khan as a vocalist. their style as a band, I think, is a bit more energetic, which I like.

right because as we all know the rest of the band is absolute garbage and Roy Khan's voice was the ONLY thing that made their music enjoyable. I mean who cares about the instrument playing or composition writing so long as Roy Khan is in the band (I mean it's not like they were already around for bout seven years before he even joined) and now that he's gone Kamelot obviously have nothing else going for them and should hang it up. Yeah I totally get where you're coming from man.

Close, it's actually a part of their interpretation from Goethe's faust. This and black halo make up most of it as a whole story actually. This is when faust on his search for the ultimate truth gets distraught and starts using drugs hence the somewhat slower pace and slightly slurred singing. I read it somewhere and now when I listen to it it means a lot more as a whole story. And no Tommy is not Roy, but that's what made Roy so amazing, he cannot be duplicated. Tommy is not bad though

Yeah.. I heard the new singers voice and he does sound like Roy Khan but i'm just a stubborn ass I prefer Roy Khan and I am a loyal fan of Roy Khan but apparently he gave up singing =( read it on wikipedia lol..

kamelot is NOT roy khan .. kamelot is a WHOLE band .. it is though true that roy khan had an exceptionally good voice , and had i the chance i would have grabbed him from his balls and dragged him back to kamelot studios , but to be honest the new one is very good too :D
