I really like his honesty, my God for such a talented guy he could have easily soaked up more limelight, admirable that he didn’t, very much so. I might not always be in the right mood to listen to him, but it’s nice to know that it’s there, his stuff I mean, the product of his art, very much a genius. A displaced one? No, not at all. His talent has evolved perfectly.

I couldn't agree more -- a brilliant song!!! I'd sing background vocals for you anytime anywhere! You inspire me. Your voice is so beautiful. BTW, I don't understand why you aren't bigger than U2. Love those guys as people, but the music does not come close.

I have have just watched all three interviews which were great. I am i long time time del, currie, fan and have parted with my cash over the years but i don't think No, Surrender is one of his best. Don't want to rock the apple cart but every link on the net sends you to No, Surrender. Not good if you don't like it.

No, Surrender is one of the greatest songs I have ever heard. If it ever gets the play it deserves(it won't), it could well be the best "Dylanesque" protest song of our time. I love all types of music and this guy is right up there with the best of the great songwriters. I can't remember the last time I played an album so often...well I can, but it would would have been when I was a very young man when playing the new record until its grooves wore out was the requirement. :-)

davesni, Del Amitri never split up so there's no need for a "reunion" tour. Justin said recently that they'lldo a new album after he gets done supporting "What Is Love For" in the US in 2009 so look for a new Del Amitri record in 2010.

Love it! Wish they'd play in Perth Australia!!! Miss his voice so much!!

Brilliant. And I think he's wrong: Del Amitri's audience would have accepted any kind of subject matter and songs from him.

any chance o a del amitri reunion tour?

In my view Justin is one of the most right on songwriters of the century. (I could have said greatest, - I wanted to, but I resisted the temptation!) This is art - and no formaldehyde! Mr Hurst resides at the other end of the scale. To sell art for millions is to devalue it. I'm sure Justin would agree. Anyway enough bull***t this is good stuff.
