I'd love to see him live with a band supporting him, met him once at a book review in Manchester very entertaining and friendly. Tour with a band Julian you'd sell out every venue.

Unfortunately your lack of intelligence and grasp of the English language has let you down here my friend... This is a shame as this is a great song.

someone, has had quite the piss in his corn flakes, 1: I am VERY against all sport hunting, 2: I am aware that the song is about it, I am just wondering what drove him to write it and yeah, Julian is very complex. maybe I should do my research, but i was just wondering if anyone knew before i spent all of that time

I just finished reading Julian Cope's two-volume biography "Head On" and "Repossessed". It made me feel like the 1980s were only last week, and mentions the Teardrop Explodes first Australian gig at Paddington Town Hall. I was there! The second book concludes as he is demo-ing tracks for "Peggy Suicide", so it ends on a high.

@ChemtrailsEire Thanks for the reply, sorry I snapped. Turns out I think I did find it through google. I thought it was related to the song though! Stupid me.
