Judith has a unique charm about her, seems to look a bit different each time I see her, always beautiful.

This is one of my 'lost' songs. I only heard it once many, many years ago performed by the composer's sister, Dusty Springfield, in one of her TV shows when television in the UK was only available in black and white. Its melody never left me. I never knew who had recorded it and have tried over and over to discover if it was available. Thanks to this marvellous posting, I not only had the pleasure of listening again but managed to track down the album from which it came: 'The Seekers All Bound for Morningtown'. It's still available and I've ordered a copy. Many thanks for posting it on You Tube - you've given an elderly lady a great deal of joy.

"The Olive Tree"Tell me white dove where will I find the olive tree? For just one branch I'd search my whole life throughI've heard them say a greener land is waiting thereWhere people wake and find their dreams come trueHigh flying dove please lead me and I'll follow youAbove the clouds beyond the stormy seaI long to share a world of sweet contentment thereIn that bright land where grows the olive treeSo let me fly please lead me and I'll follow youAbove the clouds beyond the stormy seaI long to share a world of sweet contentment thereIn that bright land where grows the olive treeIn that bright land where grows the olive tree

A Jamieson Smile: "A Prayer of Hope". I wrote this Prayer. It's been read by Rabbis & Priests even by Neurosurgeons. I hope you enjoy the Spirit of faith and love. "A Prayer of Hope": "Remember to do" not in vengeance, not in grudge but in justice & love. "Remember to be" not in malice, not in hate neither in wrongdoing nor in wickedness but in Spirit & truth. So please, Dear God, Our Father, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen. With loving eyes & heart, Jamieson (Peter)

A Jamieson Note: The Olive tree was known for its "gentleness and mildness". Biblically, it was contrasted with the fig tree and one other tree. Judith's imaging of a world, a land, a spirit of gentleness & mildness, and a people who discover dreams can come true has Judith...'long to share sweet contentment there. Where grows the olive tree?" A Jamieson Cue: In a bright land where grows a spirit of gentleness and mildness. With the love for adventure & the sound of a lover in love, Jamieson

@CdaVillan I am glad that you gave me another chance, for I have nothing but respect for Judith. She is a darling lady, then and now. That windblown look just gave us all a slightly different view of this extrememly talented songbird!

@howzitgoin1970 When I first read this comment, my immediate thought was - BLASPHEMY! But after watching this clip, I take your point. The close-up from about 0:50 illustrates the point perfectly. A natural beauty!

I know she is known for her cute bangs, but when we can see her forehead, it really opens up her sparkly eyes! From one woman to another, the bangless look really works for her! Just sayin'!

Young Judith looks gorgeous here, she looks and dresses like a girl, and sings like an angel.

The group is a legend. I love their music as I was a kid. I am wondering how children today grow up with TV and video games shooting and driving dangerously. The world 40 years ago is a lot healthier.
