A friend casually left this album (Heartfood) in my house way back in 1975....and what a mistake that was. I couldn't stop listening to it. Still 40 years later her voice and phrasing haunts me like no other.. I compare her to the best of the best and that is a very select group of angels that graced this planet for a very brief stay. RIP Judee, I miss you.

i heard this song for the first time a week or so ago on the radio,never knew of this girl or her tragic life.sad brilliant beautiful haunting song that kinda doesnt follow rules except those of genius,and i will say this,sadly, a genius that so often seems to lead the artist to a tragic end, a tragedy i will never be able to explain
