Halford can sing really well without even breaking a sweat, but if you compare the two Bruce Dickinson runs around the stage an extra few miles working up the crowd every time there's a solo. It's just funny how hyperactive Dickinson is. Showmanship!

Similar I'd say. But Halford has more power, and a rawer sound. Tate is too smooth, and his voice is only based on technique. There's no feeling in it. Much like Michael Kiske.

Even if i love halford, if you listen Tate in his prime, he may has more range than him. And an unbelievable voice too.

@BrianMont1 Yeah, I saw him this summer and he wasn't good at all. They played songs from the new album, which sucks, and I didn't hear any high notes at all xD

@kranen1 He was great for 2 tours, but if you listen to bootlegs Tate lost his voice every year. I'd say smoking and drinking didn't help but Halford smokes and drinks, not that much anymore, but retains his voice till today.
