Lyrics:

If you think it's over

Better think again

There'll be no compromise

Turning up the power

Feel adrenaline

Move into overdrive

Here comes the revolution

Time for retribution

If you think I'd back down

Or accept defeat

Brace for the aftershock

Driven to the limit

Take it to the streets

Give it everything you've got

Here comes the revolution

Time for retribution

Time to come together

Revolution

Living on forever

Revolution

Get ready for the evolution

Here comes the revolution

Time for retribution

Omg so it's not only me I just came from a Jane's Addiction video and immediately thought of this im a huge Priest fan so I obviously prefer this but It's not crazy that they both came up with the riff just the other day I heard a song by a female folk singer that sounded like intro to beyond the realms of death and maybe she's a priest fan but I doubt it.

If you think this song is a rip off of Mountain Song, maybe listen to UFO "Reasons Love". Familiar sounding riff? Maybe Jane's Addiction ripped off UFO?

A lot of folks saying Priest ripped off Jane's Addiction. Hill supposedly thought up the riff in the 70's, JA thought it up independently in the 80's. So two bands come up with essentially the same riff. Or even if Priest DID rip off Jane's, lets look at the difference.I listen to Revolution I hear intro hook, verse, chorus, pre-chorus, vocal melody.Mountain song I hear hook... oh, that's it. ONE HOOK. no verse, no chorus, no pre-chorus, no middle eight, no discernible vocal melody. JA had one good idea and either had no idea what to do with it or were just too lazy to do anything else. "Eh, that's good enough, let's just jam on that for four minutes."

Pretty good. Does remind me A LOT of Jane's Addiction's 'Mountain Song' though.
