Just heard it on Smooth Radio , never heard it for years, to Manfred Man's best song. God it takes me back, great song great times. Remember reading a newspaper at the time they had to get permission from Holst's family to use the music from the Planet Suite.

Fantastic Track - thanx LF71 Shame about that T**t Edmunds on the Intro - never an original thought between his ears - even tried to copy Kenny E when he was booted off his radio show on Auntie BBC. Still he's found his metier as a Quiz Show host - no deaths on that show - yet !

Whenever I'm at a low ebb I dig this out and have a listen. Instantly it does the trick, such a great uplifter of a tune. I know Blinded by the light gets a lot of radio airplay due to the Springsteen connection but to me this and Davey's On the Road again are far better tracks. Should be played more, lots more.
