Nashville's gone bonkers. They have become too greedy. Cmon Tylor Swift, Rscall Flatts? Give me a break. Have you ever heard Kevin Banford, Amber Digby, Clay Blaker, etc and Jerry Kilgore (in one of his songs, sings "He sounded more like George Michael, than George Strait. I ain't buying what he's trying to sell". I mean cmon it's so damn true. Look at Urban, Chesney, Flatts, Uncle Cracker and for God's sake Darius Rucker and Kid Rock? They don't even sound country forget about Honky Tonk.

I am sure glad to see country music is still being made the right way But I will agree with every body that Nashville and Radio have drop real country music For Holly Wood pop so called country That ain't country Look's like the older one's would stand up for true country music that made them money and fame ..This lady is great So is Amber and Kimberley Etc But they are being let down

I have her Wild Love cd - always loved it and now will dig it out again ,Will have to go search out the others online and buy them . I remember her voice after hearing this. She always reminded me of Kelly Willis .I owned all her 90's stuff on cassette and probably still have a few buried around here : ) She was beautiful , could sing with the best of 'em, and could write her own stuff- why didn't she make it bigger and so many inferior " talents" did ? Also love Bobby Cryner- same boat : (

@julianppp I would too, and JLW doesn't even like to have a certain label put on her music, but like you said, she isn't pop enough radio. Have you checked out Amber Digby? She's another one radio won't play, unless you live in Texas.

@tpage6 i always thought the complaints that people had about "true country" not getting enough air time/exposure/distribution etc were a little exaggerated but i guess what drives the market is indeed like you say the 20something demographics and there doesnt seem to be much we can do about that. for a while i thought i'd keep an open mind but i have to draw the line at silly, silly stuff like rascal flatts & bieber. i mean, come on. still, i'd pay for a JLW record if they ever put it out :)

@julianppp They're "too" country. That's the problem with "country" radio, radio and record execs. are catering to the teenage and twenties crowd and the hell with everyone else. That's why we have all these generic sound alike singers like jason aldean. I wish somebody would yank those ear-rings out. Thinks he's David Allan Coe or something.

many, many hundreds of miles have i driven to the sweet sound of this lady's voice. whatever has become of her and what the heck is up with all these great country acts who cant seem to catch a damn break. i mean power to miranda but come on, JLW is true class.

@TheLDLady Apparently, she wasn't pop enough to reach a "wider audience" which is oh so important to "country" music executives today, and therefore didn't get the same kind of marketing push as others.
