I do not know what kind of stylle JD was... some says they was gothic rock, others pos punk... i just know this kind of stylle has more shine because the lyrics... Ian was like a lot of poets we had in music history... but they has a poor technique, like is very typical in this kind of stylle... but i must agree they are very expressives.

Oh how I wish I could've been standing there I Manchester when they played gigs like this! Peter Hook most likely the best basslines on songs by any band you will ever hear ( and I know the arguement:; "Dee Dee Ramone, Steve Severin, John Cale, etc.") Doesn't matter, JD lyrics and music with me till I die!

Anyone starting up in a band should just look at this for influence and try to emulate it.

JCC + JD = fooking great idea meanwhile, something to ponder over during an idle moment: were they both unwitting co-founders of the subculture we know as "goth"?
