My BF is epileptic and can sometimes if "amped up" or excited become a bit wild - I'd say Ian is often dancing as a result of something like my BF has - akathisia in his case which is a screamingly painful urge to move like an itch you can't scratch and looks like having a fit he has to keep moving running around in circles literally kind of thing or will be writhing violently in agony. If in a car it needs to stop he flings his limbs out uncontrollably and it CAN in mild form look like a kind of "dance". It just reminds me a lot of my BF's actions plus the eyes can go like a bit Heroin haze/Stoned for my BF too. I'd say it's to do with his epilepsy my BF gets it from his epilepsy and Ian was said to be pretty bad and plus my BF has the same high dose medication Ian had AND four other drugs in HUGE doses I would die if I took 1/10th of his daily dose of Valium Lorazepam Phenobarbital and also Seconal and Carbemazepine just for that. He can be perfectly fine for months and a strong emotion can cause any number of things that just remind me so much of Ian's amazing movements. I've seen something SO similar I would upload a video if it wasn't a personal thing he doesn't disclose because he can usually talk etc. while this goes on almost normally but it's like his body has this urge to move and it can take many forms as I say. Always wondered about his dancing anyone else wondered quite why it's that intense and unique? Who else has that dance?
