In regard to Luke Brody's 3-year old comment. Jonathan Cain didn't write this. He came up with that keyboard intro and pretty much insisted the song would be better with it. Weaseled a songwriting credit out of it. That was Cain's only involvement with it. I asked Tod Howarth about it years ago. I don't think you're find a much more reliable source of information than one of the actual writers of the song.

確かにジャーニーっぽいけど違う。メガフォースは707ですよ。この頃だとジャーニーはトロンの主題歌「Only Solutions」歌ってましたっけね。

@JoeCrotchburger I agree Joe, but this version was actually written as a theme song for the movie "Mega Force" so I think they wrote the lyrics to fit the movie sort of? Anyway I agree Frehleys Comet version with Todd Howarth singing was much better

Yeah, someone needs to do some homework before posting. It is 707, and I always thought the singer sounded kinda like Rik Emmett of Triumph, though the guitar isn't quite the Triumph style and they keyboards are more synthy than Triumph.

Technically speaking, this isn't Journey. Here goes: As someone else below mentioned, Joanthan Cain wrote this for the B-Movie MegaForce, with Kevin Elson (of Journey's Escape LP) producing. Its Kevin Chalfant singing, not Steve Perry, although he does sound somewhat like him. Kevin released an all-Journey covers CD and played in The Storm, with members of Journey as Herbie Herbert at teh time was trying to put together another Journey after Perry refused to come back. Check out Hardline too!
